The story revolves around worm-like aliens akin to insects that have come to invade Earth, and one of those worms lands at the home of a high school student named Izumi Shinichi.
That worm wanted to enter Shinichi's mind to control his mind and control him. But she could not enter with his head, so she entered with his hand heading to his mind, and when he saw it directly in his hand, he took a rope and closed it on his hand to stop it.
Shinichi became a normal person controlling his mind and body, but the worm is still in his hand and has supernatural abilities. How will he live with that unknown worm in his hand? What about other worms? How can a weak-willed person save the world?
The unique thing about Parasites anime is that it shows you how   the human personality develops from a gentle and weak personality to a strong one in a purely philosophical way.

A person from another cosmic world. A child with an adult mind. He does not know his name or his hometown. This insect has a strange genetic makeup with its innate instinct that makes it attracted to the human mind without any reason. Here begins the real life of high school student Shinichi, who discovers another dark dimension.
If that insect came to him, there must be more! Yes, he stopped it before controlling his mind, but what about the others, were they able to stop it too? That cursed, emotionless insect with ugly facial expressions talks to Shinichi indifferently.
And that foolish person who does not know how to deal with any trivial situation, how will he deal with an insect with indifference? Each of them is trying to understand the other and they have to live with each other now.
And the insect lying in his hand speaks and says: There is a bug of my kind not far away  Let's go. Shinichi: Let's go? You must be laughing with me.
Shinichi didn't expect that insect could move him, too. He knew at this moment that he had to live with that insect, which he called Miggy.
Shinichi has always dreamed of being a strong person, so the opportunity has come for him, and he should not miss it. And now the anticipated confrontation will begin, so who will be the winner and who will die.
